Sharon started climbing in 2019, and a couple years later left a full-time job ER Nursing to pursue her passion for climbing, the climbing community, and the outdoors. She started in Newburyport with Outdoor Camp and MCS, then assistant manager before accepting the GM role at the Newburyport location in 2021 and the Everett location in 2022. Whether she is working inside the gym or outside instructing, Sharon is always psyched to watch people experience the joy of climbing, try hard, and discover they are capable of more than they think.
Though climbing is her number one passion, she is also an ultrarunner and has completed six 100-milers so far; she is also a backcountry skier, a backpacker, a surfer, occasionally bikes, and loves to read.
