RECREATIONAL PROGRAMS

Programs are available for kids ages 5 - 13, with activities for all abilities. Monthly Cost can be found in the drop down menus to the right.

Where space allows we accept new enrollees for the first session of the calendar month. Cost is $50 for the single session which can be applied to the full month cost if you wish to enroll for the month. If interested email NBPT@metrorock.com

  • Micro Crushers meets once a week on Thursdays and is a great option for young climbers looking to hone their skills.

    From bouldering to top rope climbing, this program will offer a wide range of climbing experiences to broaden your skill set!

    When:

    • Thursdays 4:00-5:30PM

    Pricing:

    This program is billed via EFT at the start of the month

    • $90 membership dues + $22.50 x number of sessions in month.

  • Climbing Club meets once or twice a week on Wednesday and Fridays and is a great option for young climbers looking to hone their skills.

    From bouldering to top rope climbing, this program will offer a wide range of climbing experiences to broaden your skill set!

    When:

    • Wednesday and/or Friday 4-5:30 PM

    Pricing:

    This program is billed via EFT at the start of the month

    • $90 membership dues + $25 x number of sessions in month.

  • Rec Team meets once or twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays and is a great option for young teens and pre-teens to discover a new passion!

    From bouldering to top rope climbing, to conditioning and injury prevention, this program will offer a wide range of climbing experiences to broaden your skill set! A great place to discover if the youth climbing team is right for you, or to continue to explore the sport of climbing on a more relaxed level.

    When:

    • Monday and/or Thursdays 5:30-7:00 PM

    Pricing:

    This program is billed via EFT at the start of the month

    • $90 membership dues + $25 x number of sessions in month.

Classes require the setup of a month-to-month EFT membership. Membership perks include rental gear being included even outside of regular class time, 20% off retail gear, and EFT members get 1 guest pass per calendar month. For those enrolled billing will occur at the start of the month.

When enrolled it will be assumed you want to stay in the program unless you unenroll within 7 days of the coming month. We are passionate about making our Youth Programs accessible and inclusive for all - especially those who have traditionally been underrepresented in the climbing community. We offer two tiers of financial assistance for teams and youth programming. For more information and to apply CLICK HERE.

FAQ

  • First timers are encouraged to try the first session of the month with no commitment to the remainder of the month. Email NBPT@metrorock.com within a week of the coming month if interested.

  • We will only accept sign ups for new participants on the first of the month. Exceptions might be made for kids who have a history of working within climbing programs.

  • No! Programs do NOT meet during MA school vacation weeks. Sessions do meet up on single day (usually Monday) holidays such as MLK day.

  • YES! Our recreational programs are tailored specifically for absolute beginner to intermediate climbers. For kids who are looking to take the next step we also have a youth climbing team for similar ages. All kids enrolling in programs should of at least tried climbing once and shown some level of interest. You can do this by coming in for a day pass during our regular hours.

  • No! Shoes and harness are included in the cost of the class, even outside of regular class hours.

Refund policy: If you need to cancel an event, we offer a full refund if the cancellation occurs 21 days or more before the event. If you are altering your booking within that period, we are happy to offer a credit for use at MetroRock, minus the deposit. We will not offer a refund for no-shows or cancellations within 48 hours before the event.
